“Be bold and redefine normal.”
– Mark Pentecost
Why “Enough” is Never Enough
One of the principles we embody in business and at the Pentecost Foundation is redefining the status quo. We believe that each of us has the ability—and responsibility—to create the world as it should be, rather than accept the current state of things.
The Pentecost Foundation focuses on cancer research, anti-human trafficking, addiction, disaster relief, and grassroots support for churches and communities, and a significant part of our success comes from our dedication to these causes (even during Mark and Cindy’s early days when resources were limited).

At the Pentecost Group, when we dream big, we create the ability to give more, and impact the world in profound ways. This cycle of giving helps everyone involved, allowing us to uplift people and causes on a whole notha’ level!
So when we are asked the question “when is enough, enough?” the answer is simply: “Never!”
The Pentecost Group believes that there will always be worthy causes to support, and there will always be more ways we can make this world a better place.
The Pentecost Foundation Supports
Cancer Research
When Mark Pentecost was diagnosed with cancer, he recognized we are stronger together.
The Pentecost Group soon began giving generously to the V Foundation for Cancer Research through the Dick Vitale Gala and to the Moffitt Cancer Center, helping to fund a cure for cancer. This collaboration is bringing us one step closer to finding cures.
Anti-Human Trafficking
After spending years on the front lines, rescuing sex trafficking victims, Kindsey Pentecost realized “we can’t rescue our way out of this.” She then joined the National Center on Sexual Exploitation (NCOSE) to help change laws and hold big tech companies accountable so our children are not groomed and trafficked. The Pentecost Foundation also supports Selah Freedom, which fights human trafficking on an individual and societal scale.
Mental Health & Addiction
Across the country, 1 in every 3 families is affected by mental health and addiction, so when someone seeks treatment, the positive effects are felt for generations! The Pentecost Foundation is passionate about facilitating this life-changing treatment through Adult & Teen Challenge USA, an organization that offers Christ-centered drug and alcohol recovery. They also help fund addiction centers through Free Chapel, a global church that offers addiction recovery and support programs.
Disaster Relief
Having been directly impacted by hurricanes, disaster relief is a cause that hits close to home for the Pentecost Foundation. They support organizations like Samaritan’s Purse which focuses on U.S. disaster relief and boots-on-the-ground help for victims of natural disasters, and Free Chapel which offers disaster relief support to those in war zones and areas affected by natural disasters across the globe.
Giving back benefits everyone.
Join us in supporting the following organizations.
V Foundation for Cancer Research
The V Foundation for Cancer Research, founded in 1993 by ESPN and renowned basketball coach Jim Valvano, has a singular mission: to achieve Victory Over Cancer®.
As a cancer survivor himself, Mark and the Pentecost Group are especially passionate about contributing to the V Foundation’s Dick Vitale Pediatric Cancer Research Fund, which is dedicated to finding a cure for pediatric cancer. Through the annual Dick Vitale Gala, the Pentecost Group has raised millions for life-saving research and to help provide critical support to families in need. Their energy and commitment are making a powerful impact, helping bring hope and real change to children and families facing the fight of their lives.

Moffitt Cancer Center
The Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute Foundation was founded in 1994 to support Moffitt’s cancer research, patient care, and education initiatives. Since then, they’ve worked to fund pioneering breakthroughs for the future that promise greater progress in saving lives and reducing cancer to a highly treatable illness.
The Pentecost Group is dedicated to supporting this mission, and has created the Pentecost Family Myeloma Research Center. Mark and Cindy's contributions are helping fund pioneering research aimed at improving treatments and finding a cure for multiple myeloma, a challenging blood cancer. By partnering with Moffitt, the Pentecost Group is playing a key role in moving cancer research toward a cure and offering hope to patients and their families affected by this disease.
National Center on Sexual Exploitation (NCOSE)
The National Center on Sexual Exploitation (NCOSE) exists because people should be free to live and love without sexual abuse and exploitation. It is the leading 501c(3) nonprofit organization exposing the links between all forms of sexual abuse and exploitation, and is working tirelessly to take down the multi-billion-dollar industry.
The Pentecost Group believes that every human being deserves the opportunity to live life to its fullest potential, and through Kinsey’s work in the field, they’ve seen firsthand how necessary it is for more people to champion this cause. The Pentecost Group is proud to support an organization that defends human dignity by mobilizing legal, corporate, and legislative action to strike deep at the roots of the systems that support and sustain sexual abuse and exploitation.

Selah Freedom
The outreach arm of Selah Freedom, a non-profit, anti-human trafficking organization with the mission to end sex trafficking and bring freedom to individuals who have been exploited was co founded by Kindsey Pentecost. They tackle issues on both ends of the spectrum by helping support local victims and survivors through their recovery phases, preventing future young people from becoming victims, and providing more awareness about human trafficking to the community at large.
Selah is a Hebrew word that means to pause, rest and reflect. Through financial donations, the Pentecost Group hopes to give survivors a chance to do just that, by contributing toward essential education and support services for those who have been victimized by human, and/or sex trafficking. They’re grateful to help women and men in Selah Freedom programs to dream again and discover who God created them to be.
Adult & Teen Challenge USA
The Pentecost Group recognizes that 33% of American families are impacted by addiction and mental health challenges, so they get excited about supporting Teen Challenge—an organization that provides teens and adults freedom from addiction and other life-controlling issues through Christ-centered solutions. Teen Challenge focuses on the whole person—body, mind, and spirit—to help people become mentally sound, emotionally balanced, socially adjusted, physically well, and spiritually alive.
By partnering with Teen Challenge, the Pentecost Foundation is contributing to the restoration of individuals who struggle with addiction, helping them reintegrate into society as sober, productive, and healthy members of their communities.

Free Chapel & Jentezen Media Ministries
Jentezen Franklin is the senior pastor of Free Chapel, a multi-campus church with a global reach. Free Chapel’s mantra is “We can’t do everything, but we can do something.”
The Pentecost Group specifically collaborates with the church on its outreach efforts, supporting local and global missions, disaster relief initiatives, and programs aimed at helping vulnerable communities. Through its work with Free Chapel, the Pentecost Foundation contributes to transforming lives and communities by offering immediate relief during crises and building sustainable solutions for long-term recovery and development.
Samaritan’s Purse
Samaritan’s Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world since 1970.
The Pentecost Group gives to Samaritan's Purse because they believe in the mission to provide urgent humanitarian aid and share the hope of the Gospel with those in need around the world. Samaritan’s Purse brings medical care, disaster relief, and resources to communities facing crisis, and the Pentecost Group is honored to contribute and help bring tangible help and spiritual hope to those affected by poverty, war, and natural disasters.
