Pentecost Ranch
What started as a 300-acre playground inspiring others to dream big, evolved into a 10,000+ acre full-fledged ranching operation that seeks to preserve the cowboy way of life vitally important to America’s history and future. These lands have been farmed and used to raise cattle for generations!
At Pentecost Ranch, visitors can go on a swamp buggy tour; enjoy the expansive hacienda; feed longhorn, mustangs, and bison; explore an Old Florida Town; and see the backdrop for the film Florida Wild.

Pentecost Island
Pentecost Island, also known as Little Bokeelia Island, offers relaxation, adventure, and history.
Located near Fort Myers, FL, Pentecost Island was originally owned by the inventor Charles Burgess and frequently visited by Thomas Edison as a place of inspiration for his work. Long before that, Calusa Indians inhabited the island, and Spanish explorers visited in the 16th century (so the story goes, Ponce de Leon was shot by a poison arrow when the two groups came into contact).

Visitors can stay in one of the Old Town guest cottages and relax in the luxury resort-style clubhouse, then visit the 100+ year-old banyan tree, planted by Thomas Edison himself. Enjoy a round of golf, experience world-renowned fishing, or explore the island by paddleboard or kayak.
