From humble beginnings, founders Mark and Cindy Pentecost have always believed in two things: dream big and inspire others to do the same.
Mark Pentecost went from being a high school teacher and Cindy a stay-at-home mom to becoming a billionaire entrepreneur, a nationally recognized philanthropist, and a world-renowned thought leader. Early in life, they learned to dream big and have since dedicated their lives to teaching others to do the same.
Their three children—Kami, Kindsey, and Kyler—were immersed in this vision from an early age. They weren’t just watching their parents’ hard work; they were living it! Whether helping to flip homes, managing day-to-day operations, or stepping into every department of the businesses, the children were partners in the journey. Along the way, they learned lessons that went beyond business. Mark and Cindy taught them the value of serving others, cheering people on, and giving back.
This Pent Way mindset has already begun to shape the next generation as grandchildren join the team. They’re learning firsthand what it means to dream big, work hard, and live with purpose—embracing the truth that they, too, were made for more.
Over the years, the Pentecost Group has expanded beyond family, and their capacity to dream big, give big, and change entire communities for the better has grown larger than Mark and Cindy ever imagined!
They’ve donated multi-millions toward charitable causes, transformed the industries they work in, and inspired thousands of entrepreneurs to take action on their dreams.
1980s & 1990s
Mark teaches high school math and coaches basketball, while Cindy works as a stay-at-home-mom with their 3 children, Kami, Kindsey, and Kyler. The couple decide to pursue their first dream of earning more cash than bills each month with a direct selling opportunity. Mark steps away from teaching and coaching as their success grows.
2001
Mark and Cindy start IT WORKS! Global and bring a revolutionary new product to the world—the Skinny Wrap®. IT WORKS! is the first of many businesses founded by the Pentecost Group.
2002–2009
Over the next decade, IT WORKS! Global expands into health and wellness, eventually offering a full nutritional line. The company’s sales base expands to include Canada and Europe, bringing international success.
2011
IT WORKS! Global migrates south, moving the corporate offices from Michigan to Florida; 24 corporate team members and their families choose to make the move with the company.
Pentecost Ranch is born with an initial 300-acre purchase. This purchase fulfils Mark and Cindy’s generational dream of owning a successful ranching operation while providing a physical place to help others expand their ability to dream.
2012
IT WORKS! Global enters a period of accelerated growth. The company is featured in the Inc. 500, and in the 5-year period between 2012-2017 grows from $40M to $750M in sales, largely driven by the foundational belief of helping households get out of debt.
2013
PentAir Aviation company is born to deliver better business travel to support It Works Global! operational needs.
2014
The Pentecost Group invests in corporate offices overlooking the marina for IT WORKS! Global, the Gives Back Foundation, and future Pentecost Group businesses.
Pentecost Foundation is born, and The Pentecost Group expands its philanthropic giving into research on the cure for cancer, community and church outreach, and fighting against human trafficking and drug addiction.
Pentecost Ranch expands to 1,000 acres, the hacienda is built, and the Pentecost Ranch experience is born.
2015
Taking things to a whole notha’ level, the Pentecost Group purchases Pentecost Island!
The Pentecost Foundation partners with Michigan State to build the Pentecost Practice Facility, supporting the school’s basketball teams and honoring Mark’s passion for the sport and coaching.
2020
Pentecost Group leaders Mark, Kyler, and Kindsey establish Impact Professionals—a streaming service for entrepreneurial-minded individuals.
2021
IT WORKS! Global celebrates 20 years of success and leadership in direct selling!
The Pentecost Group begins development of Mount Pentecost Experience with the purchase of properties in North Carolina.
2022
The Pentecost Group enters the entertainment industry with its theatrical release of The Mulligan Movie, fulfilling Mark Pentecost’s dream of investing in movies with good family values that teach important life lessons and inspire others to pursue the American dream.
2023
Writing and production for the film Florida Wild begins.
2024
Pentecost Ranch expands to 10,000 acres. The Pentecost Group uses a portion of the Ranch to create their Old Florida Town experience, to use in the filming of Florida Wild.
Founder Mark writes his first book—Life of Your Dreams—geared toward helping those who feel stuck in their daily grind to remember their dreams and create a life that is legendary.
2025
Florida Wild will make its debut across the U.S.
